Eric Lee | Week 8: I am becoming toxic




WEEKLY NARRATIVE
Cat is me during weekends chasing bugs
"Previously on Rem"
Bugs were squashed
Bugs reincarnated and squashed
Maps were set up.
Maps were broken and re-setup.
Trello is full of facepalm cat (That's my avatar in trello)
Trello is full of bugs and no one assigned to them/taking them.
Also prototyping new mechanics for the game.
I also did something in the spreadsheet that would calculate the full hours that everyone has worked on on the game.
It only works if you put your hours in the spreadsheet too.

CONTENT WITH HOURS

  • 1 hour - meeting
  • 20 hours - Merging levels/populating levels/Fixing them
  • 5 hours - Prototyping mechanics in the game (lights off,on / book cases falling / chaser enemy)




 WORKFLOW

If you reach the end of the game, this is what you should see, why? because there's nothing else.

No image of prototypes because it's better shown in gifs/videos and I am too tired to make gifs of the videos right now.

Positive outcome

  • Prototyping was fun


Negative outcome

  • I am becoming even more toxic because I can't see what everyone else is doing and after seeing everyone's else PPJ's the toxicity increases.
  • On Sunday, during a full day bug fixing/Qaing, the only QA's were Chris (clipping issues), Mike (dashing texture issues(player communication)), Tin, Corwin and I.
  • Where's half of the team.


Next Tasks
More prototyping and whatever is thrown at me
