John Harvey, Week 2 | Hospital modeling

WEEKLY NARRATIVE

This week the Art department met to agree upon how models/textures should be made to match the aesthetic that we are looking for. Unfortunately, I drew up some concepts that went with the aesthetic from last quarter, so those were push aside. Once, everyone understood the new design flow I was pretty excited.
The way we are modeling this quarter is extremely low poly and flat shading, allowing me and Kane to push out models a lot quicker. The flat shading will also allow us to push our "weird, strange" vibes more through lighting and we won't have to worry about objects being desaturated/blending.
