Mike Moore | Week 2: Brainstorming and concept projecting

WEEKLY NARRATIVE
This week was meeting heavy for every department. It was necessary to brainstorm new mechanics, dynamics, workflow, story, ect to allow everyone to make this game their own. This allowed us to project where the game is going and how to break that down into realistic achievable goals for each department.
CONTENT WITH HOURS
- Design Meeting (3 hours)
- Producer Meeting (1hour)
- Gantt Creation (.5 hour)
- Level Design Meeting (1 hour)
- Art Meeting ( 1.5 hours)
- Game Meeting (1 hour)
- Producer Meeting (.5 hours)
- Weekly assignments (1.5 hours)
POSITIVE OUTCOMES
- Every department met and has established a more well defined workflow
- Each department has created a vision for the game and stepping stones to achieve milestones
- Individual section GDD to manage concepts and concrete decisions while keeping the games GDD clean and relevent.
NEGATIVE OUTCOMES
- It has been a slow two weeks in term of new game content, I wish we could have expedited the organization and projected conceptualization quicker so we could have less down time in certain departments.
NEXT TASKS
Design team meeting to finalize abilities and progression to allow programming to add the new mechanics to the game.
