This week was pretty much bug fixes and adding the new level tutorials into the game.
Bug fixes from making sure the mouse dissappears from the screen when we want it to and make it appear when we want it to.
In other words, make a magic trick with the mouse.
Then I fixed more stuff with spectral wall that appeared after the implementation of stamina.
Then I set up the xray tutorial level. It had doors. Our script only allows for single doors. These were double doors. I hate doors now.
CONTENT WITH HOURS
- 2 hours - meeting
- 3 hours - Spectral Walls bug fixes
- 30 minutes - mouse lock and scene back button bug fixes
- 30 minutes - Fixing door rotation scripts to allow multiple doors
- 6 hours - setting up levels.
WORKFLOW
INTENDED WAY TO USE A DOOR
Positive outcome
- Bugs were squashed.
- Map spawned
Negative outcome
- xRay level implementation took longer than expected
- We need more communications between teams.
Next Tasks
Since our meetings don't talk that much into the future, I imagine my next task will have to do something with either introducing the lobby to the player.
Implement more mechanics.
And whatever the leads tell me to code.
