John Harvey | Week 6 | When your bored, Build a Garden

WEEKLY NARRATIVE

This week I spent most of my time modeling out stretch goals for the garden that will help fill the area. As modelers were not tasked with anything on Trello, so I took the opportunity to get ahead.

In total I made a Garden door, Green house, Library Globe, some Rocks and a tree. Unfortunately before I got this post up I had to reformat my PC so I will be unable to supply any proof of work, but I assure you I have given our texture artists the fbx objects before hand some they can texture them if need be.

Garden door was fun figuring out the vines...Kane Suggested we just texture them on, but I feel that if the vine have actual mesh/form it will sell better.

Green House gave me some problems as my PC crashed near the end losing 1.5 hours of work (not in the total). My PC crashing is the reason I reformatted it as it crashes about once a day.

Progress is looking great for modelers, we are staying on top of things and even moving ahead, where other departments need to catch up.

Week 8 I plan on switching to particles. I need to discuss this with the team as well as Kane.
