WEEKLY NARRATIVE
Uhm, Is it safe to type now? APPARENTLY.
So, this week was me getting hammered by midterms, actually, just like everyone else. I don't have the right to complain about that.
On Friday our meeting did not contain our coding lead. So at any time that there was a coding question that I was able to answer I would.
We headed towards the scene transitions instead of level loads and linking the levels. And that's what I did.
Also we got a new xray level and I set it up as fast as I could.
yea... Oh, it was valentines day this week. I was studying and had no date. So, nothing interesting from my part...
EXCEPT FOR THE WORKFLOW BUGS
CONTENT WITH HOURS
- 2 hours - meeting
- 4 hours - Linking levels
- 10 hours - Debugging all the linking levels bugs that I created plus old bugs that they told me to fix
- 2 hours - Setting up xray level
- 30 minutes - fixing dash level screenie
- 30 minutes - Adding hallways transition
- 1 hours - Fixing bugs created from that
WORKFLOW
DARKNESS FOR SOME REASON - WHILE THIS ROOM HAD 3 DIFFERENT COLORS
Also, loading levels dynamicallyPositive outcome
- A LOT OF WORK?
Negative outcome
- We need more communication of priorities between teams.
- We also need to have more meetings thinking about what a player could do or what could happen in different scenarios
- I want a QA
Next Tasks
Since our meetings don't talk that much into the future, I imaging something about the new levels.
And whatever the leads tell me to code.
Total hours: 19 hours
