Mike Moore | Week 5: Visual Progress at last!



WEEKLY NARRATIVE

This week we finally have some meat with our potatoes. We have the first three levels in. Still working through a lot of issues and workflow but hey we are all learning. Level design is a unique and important challenge.... would be nice if there was a class offered...hmmm. But hey we have all the main mechanics in.... new levels and tutorials. Boom!!!


CONTENT WITH HOURS

  • Game meeting  and prep (2 hours)
  • Gantt/GDD Revision ( 1 hours)
  • Modeling New Enemy (3 hour)
  • Research Clothing modeling and rigging (1 hour)





























POSITIVE OUTCOMES

  • New dash/xray/lobby levels in game
  • All common environment models are modeled and textured
  • New levels are textured
  • New enemy has code
  • New enemy is under first stages of modeling
  • Started collecting sound effects


NEGATIVE OUTCOMES

  • Behind on animations
  • Behind on level design and implementation
  • Workflow issues and communication issues.
